Help us "ICE OUT HUNGER" and feed local children!
It's the easiest way to give back, help kids, and sparkle. During the month of October, Perry’s Emporium will be partnering with NourishNC for our annual “ICE OUT HUNGER” campaign, and we would like to invite you to join us in supporting this charity. Diamond jewelry purchased this month will help to benefit NourishNC and help local children.
WHY: OUR HEART FOR THE COMMUNITY
Perry’s Emporium is passionate about giving back to the local community. This community has blessed us over the past 30 years with their support by allowing us to be their Local Family Jeweler and we cannot think of a better way to say thank you than to support local charities and events. Our founder, Alan Perry, estimates that he’s given away over $1 million in the past 30 years to various local charities. “I believe it’s our duty to give back to the community that supports us,” said Alan. NourishNC’s mission is to provide healthy food to hungry children, empowering them to succeed in the classroom and community. NourishNC’s Backpack Program provides meal assistance to over 1,300 kids in New Hanover County every weekend and on all school breaks. You can learn more at NourishNC.org.
HOW: RAISING FUNDS FOR CHILDREN
Throughout the month of October, Perry’s Emporium will be donating a percentage of proceeds from every piece of diamond jewelry sold to NourishNC. When you purchase your diamond jewelry at Perry's during this month, you will be making a positive impact. We hope you will join us in the effort to “ICE OUT HUNGER” and ensure every child in New Hanover County has a full belly. In 2021, we were able to raise $11,000 through “ICE OUT HUNGER” to support NourishNC and our goal is to exceed that amount this year with your help.
